Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

When I was younger, I was always interested in woodworking and how furniture is made. So when I came in on Martin Luther King Jr.’s day, I was expecting to be at a desk working on something. However, I was surprised with Yvonne, her mother, her husband, and Rebecca. I was told I didn’t have to be in that day but I stayed, and her husband taught me how to use a plate joiner machine. This machine pierces through a wooden plank to create a small gap for the biscuits to fit in. I made sure the machine was aligned with the exact place I wanted the cut to be.
