Started by Artists Yvonne Shortt and Mayuko Fujino, the Elmhurst sculpture garden is a collaborative activism and revitalization project created with funding of the NEU grant. As part of the funding, the board requested the creation of a Friends group. RPGA Studio is the fiscal sponsor of the garden, and it is maintained by the Friends of Elmhurst Sculpture Garden.
