We are very excited about our 2015 Queens Art Intervention weekend.  It is a chance to use your creativity and artistry to interact with the Queens community.

We advise you to work on your proposal in word then copy it to the form when you have it the way you want it.

 

QAI Weekend - September 19th & 20th  (Saturday & Sunday)

 

Your project should last a minimum of 2hrs on either Saturday (September 19th, 2015) or Sunday (September 20, 2015). We love proposals that last longer and that span both days although we understand if this is not feasible.

 

Your project should engage the community.

 

You should request between $100.00 - $500.00

(Please keep in mind that you may not receive more than $100.00 for an artist stipend.)

 

Your project should be outdoors.

 

Your project should be in a neighborhood in Queens. Great locations include wide streets, plaza's, parks like Flushing Meadow Park, and so many other beautiful places. 

 

You should have a plan on how you are going to publicize the event.
